This drawing felt like a fitting place to begin the slow and tedious job of documenting my old sketches and work.

I’ve always been drawn to the fool archetype. Sometimes I embody it, or embrace it—or resist it. I've felt this way for as long as I can remember.

Lewis Chessman Stained Glass

Modeled after one of the Lewis Chessmen, this small piece combines stained glass and sculpey. It draws inspiration from the oldest known complete chess set, unearthed in a hoard on the Isle of Lewis off the coast of Scotland.
