This shiny Vintage Brass Post-Office Bank Box locks behind two rotating dials for keepsakes and secrets.
An evocative slice of postal history, this bank features a genuine brass PO‑box door, complete with tempered glass window, solid brass plate, and fully functional gearing and combination mechanism. The wear — subtle patina, light corrosion on the gears, and small imperfections — attests to decades of real use, not artificial distressing. The tempered glass has a faint green hue around the edges, and the construction feels rugged and industrial: the edges are thick and well-defined, just as you’d expect from a piece built for laborious service.
Excellent condition. Attached to a hand built box.
